President and CEO
Mark is CEO of Cority Software Inc., a Toronto-based, award-winning, global SaaS company. Under Mark’s leadership, Cority’s revenue has grown consistently at a compounded rate of 25-30 percent. The company has grown in employees from 29 when Mark started in 2003 to over 250 today. It enjoys an industry-leading profit margin. In 2016, Cority raised capital with Norwest Venture Partners, Georgian Partners, and BMO. Mark was a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year, 2017 Awards. Previously, Mark was Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary and a member of the executive management team of AT&T Canada Corp. Mark is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, where he recently completed 10 years on the Board of Governors, including four as Chair of the Board. He received his J.D. from the University of Victoria and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Mark is active in mentoring young entrepreneurs and has served on several other not for profit boards.
EVP | Chief Technology Officer
Stan Marsden is the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Cority. His primary responsibility is to define the technology and development of Cority’s flagship EHSQ software platform. He has managed the evolution of the product from its initial Unix, character based roots through two subsequent generations of products: a Windows client/server product, and the current state of the art multi-tier Web based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. He is also responsible for the provision of all client support and success at Cority. He believes that it is the feedback through direct contact with clients that is pivotal in ensuring that Cority has the best software product possible and the best support in the industry. Stan joined Cority in 1992 where he held the position of Development Manager, and was subsequently promoted to Vice President, Product Development. Prior to working at Cority, he was a System Analyst at the Ontario Hospital Association. Stan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Toronto.
Chief Financial Officer
Ryan Magee is the Chief Financial Officer at Cority. Since joining Cority in 2012, he has supported Accounting and Finance department, ensuring that Cority is on solid financial ground, while building a platform for growth and expansion. In 2014 Ryan began supporting the Human Resources and Legal departments as well. Ryan also leads Cority’s Corporate Development and post-merger integration initiatives. He was pivotal in the acquisitions of regAction and IQS in early 2017. A CPA, CMA, Ryan has over a decade of experience working in the Software and Technology industries where he has helped many companies scale and grow. Ryan’s most recent position before joining Medgate was Director of Finance at Redknee Inc.
Chief Product Officer
Mike joined Cority in 2016 from streaming video platform pioneer Quickplay (acquired by AT&T), where he was SVP, Product and Marketing. Upon joining as CMO, Mike led the team in the successful re-brand from Medgate to Cority and now leads Product Management, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Partner Enablement, and the Business Development Representative team. Prior to Quickplay, Mike spent fourteen years at the 25,000-employee telecom software leader Amdocs, where he progressed to become Division President as Head of Global Marketing. In 2008, Mike was appointed head of Amdocs’ $250 million Canadian managed services business, leading on-site and off-shore teams across sales, consulting, delivery and operations to successive years of overachievement. Mike was also a key contributor to the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy of one of Canada’s most successful software start-ups, Solect Technology Group, which was acquired by Amdocs for over $1 billion. Mike has also held product management, marketing and sales roles at Livingston International, Imperial Oil, and Sprint Canada. Mike holds a BA in Economics Summa Cum Laude and MBA from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Senior Vice President, Global Sales
As Senior Vice President Global Sales, Greg brings to Cority over 20 years of Sales, Business development and Marketing management in the finance, technology and medical sectors, with experience in North American, European, Latin American and Asia Pacific markets. He has extensive experience within growing organizations in both mature and upstart environments, with consistently high achievement in leading firms including PriceMetrix, Algorithmics (now IBM), INEA (now SAP), 724 Solutions and Johnson and Johnson. Greg’s early career included time at Johnson and Johnson Surgical group in sales and product management. He ran North American buy-side sales at Algorithmics, a leading Risk Management firm, during a period of growth which saw that firm grow from 350 people to over 700. He also has experience in smaller firms, leading operational improvements and revenue growth that will help us reach key milestones in our growth strategy. Greg has completed various professional development programs and holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of British Columbia.
Vice President, Product Marketing
Pamala Bobbitt is Vice President, Product Marketing at Cority, where she is in charge of driving the go-to-market strategy and product vision for the company’s unified true SaaS platform. Bobbitt began her career as a field chemist specializing in hazardous waste management before becoming an EHS Manager for a leading automotive supplier. After spending over 15 years as an EHS professional in progressive roles across the pharmaceutical, chemical, and automotive industries, Bobbitt leveraged her deep regulatory compliance expertise and passion for technology and entered the EHS software industry. Bobbitt has over a decade of industry experience working with prominent EHS software vendors, helping enterprises map complex business processes into successful technology programs that drive measurable outcomes.
Vice President, Professional Services
As Vice President of Professional Services, Pablo oversees the successful delivery of Cority’s solution to our client’s around the globe. Pablo brings a decade of experience delivering enterprise solutions to top-tier clients throughout North America, Europe and APAC. Prior to joining Cority in January 2018, Pablo was the VP of Strategic Planning at NexJ Systems. Pablo has also held various Professional Services roles and always maintained an excellent track record of delivering solutions and establishing strong relationships with clients. Pablo’s experience driving operational efficiencies and leading high performing teams will help Cority through its next stage of growth. Pablo has also held research and teaching positions at the University of Toronto in the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, the Advanced Microsystems and Nano Lab, at Queen’s University, and the Royal Military College. Pablo holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University, and both an M.A.Sc. and MBA from the University of Toronto.
VP, Product Management
John Easton is VP, Product Management after having served previously as Product Manager and Senior Client Service Consultant. He has been in the health and safety field since 1996. Prior to joining Cority, John worked for 12 years at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in the capacity of Health & Safety Specialist and most recently as Assistant Manager, Health & Safety. John has extensive experience in developing and managing standards and programs for industrial hygiene and safety.
Senior Director, International Sales
Mike Jackson is Sr. Director, International Sales. In this role he is responsible for the International Sales team, which supports all sales efforts for Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Mike has been involved both in the sales and service ends of Cority’s business having held the roles of Director of Client Service, Account Executive and, initially, Senior Client Service Consultant. Mike has been with Cority since 2002, having joined from Mercer Consulting. At Mercer, he served in the role of Implementation Project Manager with the Benefits Administration Practice, guiding the implementation of both business processes and web-based software applications. Prior to that, he was a consultant in the Health & Group Benefits practice. Prior to employment at Mercer he held positions as a Programmer, Quality Assurance Consultant, and Technical Account Manager with various organizations.
