The report evaluated 11 process safety management (PSM) software providers across 13 capability and 10 momentum categories. The recognition comes at a pivotal moment for the market. Verdantix found that AI is increasingly being embedded into process safety workflows, including incident management, while organizations continue to prioritize human oversight and control in safety-critical environments. Forty-two percent of firms surveyed ranked controls and human-in-the-loop capabilities as either the most or second-most important attribute when deploying agentic AI within their EHS workflows.
