Cority Releases Results of 2018 EHS Technology Trends Survey

Standardizing procedures, sharing EHS data enterprise-wide and predictive analytics top the list of trends poised to have biggest impact on EHS programs in 2018

Toronto, Canada – January 18, 2018 – Cority, the most trusted environmental, health, safety, and quality (EHSQ) software for assuring client success, today announced the results of its annual EHS Technology Trends Survey. The survey polled EHS professionals from over 25 countries and 12 industry verticals to provide insight into their 2018 EHS technology priorities. Survey findings show that standardizing procedures tops the list as the technology trend projected to have the biggest impact on EHS program performance over the next year.

Respondents in manufacturing indicated they will prioritize sharing EHS data enterprise-wide to improve data accuracy, enable better decision-making, and drive operational excellence across multi-plant environments.

Larger companies look to leverage predictive analytics

Respondents in larger companies (5,000-50,000+ employees) believe adopting predictive analytics will provide the biggest opportunity for program innovation. Results show that EHS professionals will delve deeper into their data in 2018 to proactively identify and mitigate risk and improve total worker health.
