Medgate Safety Experts at NSC Congress & Expo

Medgate Inc., the leading global provider of occupational health and safety (OH&S) software, will be showcasing its GX2 software release at this year’s National Safety Council (NSC) Congress and Expo in Philadelphia, PA. The conference will take place from October 31 – November 4 at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

The focus of Medgate’s presence at this conference will be to highlight its comprehensive Safety Software Suite, included in the GX2 release. As part of Medgate’s complete OH&S software offering, the Safety Software Suite supports a safety management system approach to safety and enables organizations to conduct incident management, pro-actively mitigate risks, satisfy EHS compliance requirements, identify problem areas, and track performance. Key modules in this software suite include:

  • Risk Assessment
  • Incident Management
  • Compliance Management
  • Audits & Inspections
  • Findings & Action Tracking

Companies can analyze and report on safety / OH&S data using flexible, dynamic, and configurable dashboards, reports, and metrics tools included in the software.

The GX2 release was developed by Medgate subject matter experts with input from EHS professionals from client companies. Medgate customers that participated in the GX2 development process include L.L. Bean and CSX Transportation.

“With the addition of a robust and well developed Risk Assessment tool, GX2 will take Medgate [software] to a new level of productivity for an organization’s Health & Safety program,” states Dr. Billy Bullock, Director of Industrial Hygiene for CSX Transportation. “This product will allow you to increase the productivity of your organization in a time of decreased budgets and staff.”

Medgate will be represented by two of its certified safety and industrial hygiene professionals at the NSC Congress and Expo. John Easton (CRSP) is a product manager for Medgate and brings a wealth of practical safety and industrial hygiene experience, including leading the implementation of safety incident tracking software at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Company. Joe Loro (CSP, CIH) has worked extensively as a practicing safety engineer and industrial hygienist with organizations such as Central Arizona Project and is currently an account manager at Medgate. In addition to showcasing the Medgate Safety Software Suite, both experts look forward to discussing best practices in safety data management with delegates.
