Medgate has been recognized as an EHS Software market leader by industry analysts Verdantix in the most recent green quadrant for the sector. The green quadrant ranks EHS Software vendors according to functionality across 26 areas for functionality and 12 business-related indicators.
Medgate received perfect scores in every category for occupational health, reflecting its 30 years of product innovation in this area. Medgate also achieved the highest scores of any vendor for industrial hygiene. Improving on employee health and medical monitoring in 2016 was ranked as a high priority by 69% of respondents in a recent survey of more than 300 EHS executives globally.
Medgate’s safety suite received praise in the report for its audit functionality, job hazard/safety analysis, fall protection, process hazard/safety analysis and contractor safety management.
Verdantix said: “Medgate is the benchmark against which other applications’ functionality should be measured for occupational health and industrial hygiene. For firms where health and safety is managed separately from environmental compliance, it is a no-brainer for executives to include Medgate on their shortlist.”
Medgate president Mark Wallace said: “We are pleased to receive this endorsement from Verdantix. EHS professionals are increasingly looking for a complete enterprise-wide picture of their environmental, health and safety risks. Medgate is uniquely placed to meet this market demand.”
Medgate provides enterprise, health and safety (EHS) software to large, global corporations, particularly in hazardous industries such as oil and gas, mining, chemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, utilities and government agencies.
